A Christmas tree was placed in the middle of the courtyard of the blocks ensemble from Aviatiei district. We set the tree just on the retroceded land where an investor wants to build. In order to support this project of arranging this land as a public space, we invited the citizens from the neighbouring blocks to decorate a bulb and the Christmas tree was brought and adorned by the inhabitants (especially by the children).

This manifesto belongs to the project Magic Blocks, Scenarios for socialist collective housing estates in Bucharest. The main objective of the project is the elaboration of principles and strategies for the rehabilitation of the housing districts built in the socialist period and also the implementation of specific pilot-projects.
